We are in the splendid lake district of Southwest Friesland.
From Sloten one can take all possible sailing tours for one or more days.
Staying in our town for a longer period of time will also be pleasant; for instance, to enjoy the picturesque center from one of the sidewalk cafés.
Camping grounds are nearby, under the rampart, where the boat can also be moored.
